Karen Wilson, Library Media Assistant @ Scott Elementary School
I think that all of us are grateful to the instructional assistants that are staffing our libraries this year. At Scott Elementary School, we would like to extend a special thank you to our Library Media Assistant Karen Wilson, for the fabulous job she is doing.
Karen has not only kept our library functioning very well, but she has taken great care to develop new systems which work. She reads books to students with great enthusiasm, and decorates the library for holidays. As we neared the holiday break, you could see Karen wearing her Santa hat as she greeted students with carols as they waited in line to be served breakfast. Karen is very kind and always has a smile to share with students and staff. We are blessed to have her as a colleague!
