April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and there are some upcoming presentations that are open to staff, parents, and community members.

Presentations by representatives from Mid-Valley Women's Crisis Service; no interpretation available

In addition, the Leslie Middle School Peer Helpers and the Hands and Words Are Not for Hurting program will be hosting two showings of the Let's Get Real and Bullied videos.
The first showing will be on Wednesday, April 25 at The Grand Theatre, 191 High St NE, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., and an encore showing will be held on Friday, April 27 at Chemeketa Community College Auditorium, Building 6 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. These events are free and open to the community.
