These are districtwide committees that are usually requested or appointed by the Salem-Keizer School Board. They often report their work directly to the board.

Professional Action Committee for Education, PACE
- Every month, a group of 20 district leaders meet to communicate about issues and concerns in the school district. This group is called PACE. Read more
Special Education Advisory Council, SEAC
- The council was formed in the summer of 2001 to serve as a connection between parents of special needs students and Salem-Keizer staff. The council has 17 members, 9 of which must be parents of special needs children. The rest is made up of school district personnel, agencies and other interested parties. Read more
