"This year's music for all three groups is very advanced and is usually performed only by top college and professional choirs, orchestras and bands – not by high school student musicians," said Karl Raschkes, music/theater arts director. "It will challenge our young high school musicians to their maximum effort and ability – to perform this very difficult and sophisticated music with just three full rehearsals conducted by nationally recognized conductors. There is a lot of risk involved, but I have faith in our honor music students and their teachers, that they will succeed."
