Congratulations to Tim McAllister for receiving the Unsung Hero award for March, 2009. Tim is service oriented and always willing to help anyone and do anything. He is a great representation of our maintenance department. He is an electrician by trade but he truly encompasses what it means to be maintenance worker. Service with a smile — that's Tim.

What is the Unsung Hero Award?

The department of Maintenance Services has established a procedure to recognize outstanding performance among the staff, vendors, and school district as a whole. Throughout the year, staff, principals and other administrators nominate individuals who have excelled in their performance with the district. A review committee receives these nominations and each month selects an employee to receive "The Unsung Hero."

The Unsung Hero award is presented to the person who best represents the six core values; Stewardship, Responsibility, Professionalism, Integrity, Respect and Cultural Competency.
