Volunteer

There are many ways you can be a part of Salem-Keizer Public Schools.
- Approved Volunteers List
- This list is updated every two weeks and is only for use by current Salem-Keizer Public Schools employees for verifying volunteers who have cleared a criminal history check.
- Criminal History Check Forms
- Applicants must complete the approval process before volunteering.
- Become a Mentor or School Volunteer
- Thousands of volunteers help out in district schools each year – many of them are mentors to students. Thank your for your interested in volunteering and mentoring. Contact your neighborhood school.
- Join a Parent Club
- Each school has a parent club and a 21st Century Site Council to lead school improvement efforts. Most schools also have a parent club that focuses on fundraising. Contact your neighborhood school.
- Become a Business Partner
- Partnerships are links between a local business, non-profit agency, local or state government and a school, classroom, or support department. Together they make a one-year, renewable commitment to share human resources, equipment, materials, and facilities for mutual benefit.
- Join a District Committee
- Volunteering in schools is just one opportunity to get involved. The district also has many community committees and programs that need dedicated participants, such as yourself.
